1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using HalalGamer (“the Service”) at halalgamer.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What HalalGamer is

HalalGamer provides informational content ratings for video games based on Islamic content guidelines. Our ratings are informational only — they are not religious rulings (fatwas), and they do not represent the official position of any scholar, mosque, or Islamic institution.

We apply a multi-madhab framework to give users a range of perspectives. Users are responsible for applying their own religious judgement. HalalGamer does not replace consultation with a qualified scholar.

3. User accounts

You may create a free account to access community voting features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must not create accounts for others without their permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the voting system, submit fraudulent ratings, or violate these terms.

4. Community contributions

When you submit a community vote or any other content, you grant HalalGamer a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content on the Service. You must not submit votes or ratings that are intentionally false, misleading, or designed to manipulate ratings.

5. Accuracy of ratings

Game ratings on HalalGamer are generated through a combination of AI analysis, community votes, and manual review. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that every rating is correct, complete, or up to date. Games change with updates and patches — ratings reflect content at the time of screening.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent, false, or manipulated community votes
• Scrape or bulk-download the Service without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Use the Service to harass or harm others
• Impersonate any person or entity

7. Intellectual property

The HalalGamer name, logo, rating methodology, and original content are our intellectual property. Game names, cover art, and metadata are the property of their respective owners and are used for informational and editorial purposes only. HalalGamer is not affiliated with any game publisher.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that ratings are complete or accurate. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HalalGamer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any game rating.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect changes. Continued use of HalalGamer after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
